Tweet Ever since I can remember I have wanted to go to Greece, to visit the home of the ancient heroes and gods I enjoyed reading about as a child. Luckily, our daughter’s enthusiasm for all things ancient Greek, and that of her best friend Georgia, provided a perfect excuse for a trip.

Tweet This week’s theme could be summed up as Reminiscence and Retro. My husband has a terrible sweet tooth, nurtured from childhood by his mother who is an expert baker and pudding-maker.  So I like to make him something every week that he can take to work and nibble on.  I decided to bake “Chocolate “Read more”

Tweet Couples who suppress anger are twice as likely to face early death as those who express it, says University of Michigan psychology professor emeritus Ernest Harburg. A good fight with your spouse could be the key to a happy marriage. The Epicurean Man and I had a ” good fight”  last week.

Last week Monday I took my in law’s on a food adventure through this lovely neighborhood in Brooklyn called Carrol Gardens. We were on a quest to find fresh pork . Since moving to Spring-hill Florida such delicacies are hard to find. Our food adventure brought to us to http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/3/1458898/restaurant/New-York/Carroll-Gardens/G-Esposito-Sons-Jersey-Pork-Store-Brooklyn for fresh pork.

I was so excited to buy my very first sausage wheel. It was a chicken/apple sausage wheel to be exact. It has been sitting in my freezer for the entire week.
