On June 2, 2012, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic was held at a new venue, Liberty State Park. Hosted by actor Clive Owen, it is one of the most highly-anticipated events of the season, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic is an event to see and be seen in. The fashion, the celebrities, the endless bubbly. World-renowned polo player, Ralph Lauren model, and event co-host Nacho Figueras and his team, Black Watch, went head-to-head against some of the best polo players in the world.
When I attended last year , I was on assignment for Haute Living. You can read all about my adventure HERE. This year it was a bit more low-key, my Hubby Joe aka The Epicurean Man and I headed over to Liberty Island, to mingle, eat good food ( we ordered a fabulous picnic basket) and drink loads of bubbly , Veuve Clicquot of course. Feeling extra lovely from the endless champagne, I was able to still take a few good photographs. Hope you enjoy it. Veuve Clicquot you sure know how to throw a fabulous Polo event.
