My hands have been full the past few months, writing for Haute Living, my own Blog, photography, traveling and the list continues. I am now adding one more huge project to my list. My wonderful husband Joe aka The Epicurean Man approached me with an exciting opportunity. He asked if I would be interested in being his partner and the Editor in Chief of a new online magazine, focusing on Mixology as a lifestyle and a culture. I replied ” YES” immediately to the chance to work with Joe ,who I think is a marketing and advertising genius. It has been a fabulous journey so far, we do butt heads a bit, ok I mean a lot. We are both the same sign – Taurus, and stubborn as hell. Overall I am learning from my husband and it is adding a fun and interesting dimension to our marriage.
This weekend with our new camera-man Scott, Joe and I shot our first two videos for our new online magazine. I can’t give away the venues and concepts, quite yet. I can say, we interviewed two master mixologist. We launch in a couple of weeks. I had the best time being the creative director and putting together the lay-out and all the editorial for the videos. Drinking all the cocktails after was not too shabby either. Here are a few photos from our day of shooting.
