In the last year, bloggers have launched their careers into the stratosphere. From making rent, to traveling the world, now it’s possible more than ever to live your dreams as a professional blogger. But what do you do once you’re there or almost there? How do you build relationships with brands without losing your cred with your beloved readers? How do you create unique content without stepping on other blogger’s toes? How do you set up your business, get noticed by the media… Evolving Influence  covered it all.

Were some of the inspiring panelists that spoke throughout the day. The Adventurista is not categorized as a ” Fashion Blog,” thought I do talk about style and fashion ever so often. I thought the conference was very informative to some-one like myself still considered a ” newbie” in the blogging world. I was very impressed by 23 year old Chiara Ferragni of  http://www.theblondesalad.com/. Launched in October 2009, her blog quickly became a huge success, racking in over 65,000 views each day and more than 6 million page views each month. Chiara now works with brands like Benetton, Nike, Dior to name a few.

The overall message from our esteemed panaelists ” create a small niche, try to be a significant voice  within your community, brands no longer care about traffic numbers, but more importantly is the blogger’s reach with her audience.”

The atmosphere at the conference was electrifying, a sea of fashionista’s  dressed in their own unique style. Levi’s jeans.. http://us.levi.com ..one of the sponsors had a booth that measured you for their new ” Levi’s Curve ID Jeans”, once measured, we got a postcard with our size and type of jeans. A free pair of jeans at any Levi store in the City. I can’t wait to pick mine up. I am a bit rushed writing this post, I must dash off to a few fashion events today, including the Cynthia Rowley Fall 2011 show…http://www.cynthiarowley.com/… at the Mercedes Benz tents at Lincoln Center. I just adore her fashions, and will post on it tomorrow.I hope you enjoy my photo diary of yesterday’s IFB fashion Conference.
