Post image for A Fabulous Holiday Cocktail Soiree

I am so excited to report that our Holiday cocktail soiree The Epicurean man and I hosted last night, went of without a hitch…phew !!!! I was so busy yesterday with work and errands, I barely was able to get all the ingredients on my list for cocktails, appetizers and such. My hubby and I had planned out our cocktail menu the night before so I had a LIST, this was my lifesaver. Our theme was ” Vintage Cocktails”  and it was quite complicated as my loving hubby reminded me over and over again. I knew he would prevail and wow all our friends once  he sorted it all out and got on with cocktail making. It was such a fantastic, fun night. The laughs were endless and the conversation hilarious, more so under the influence of The Epicurean Man’s ” deadly cocktails” as one of our guests called it. I also prepared a delicious barbecued pulled pork sliders, with the most adorable mini brioche buns. The night did not end till 3 am, as we all sat around the fireplace by the Christmas tree, chatting about what fabulous adventures we all plan to have for 2011. I hope you enjoy the photographs, they were not easy to take since I was buzzing around being a hostess to my guests. Of course, I was still able to get some decent photographs in. X
