This past summer, The Epicurean Man, Karate Boy and I had a fabulous holiday in my home-land Trinidad & Tobago. It was quite emotional and exhilirating for me, returning home after almost 18 years away. One of the many adventures we embarked on was a short stay in Tobago ….” Tobago, serene, philosophical, dreaming beneath the sun and the wash of the waves. Tobago, where the sea’s blue is startling and the roads wind like snakes along the steep green hillsides, is the place for dozing in a hammock, snorkeling on a reef, sipping a rum punch at sunset. A place for rest, or romance; for regeneration.”.

While in Tobago we headed over to my Aunt ( my dad’s sister)  for a visit, as well as to check out her villa… Dingolay. I have only seen photographs via the internet until now, we all agreed it was even more spectacular in person. My Aunt , along with her husband  built Dingolay with love, passion and a respect for the natural beauty of Tobago. Designed by the late uber architect Roger Turton, Dingolay offers one a lifestyle of ” true Tobago living” . Karate Boy frolicked around the house, enjoying all the secret nooks he found and The Epicurean Man and I sat on the majestic veranda, marveling at all the lush surroundings, sounds of the birds chirping and the cool soothing breeze once the evening set in. After many, many years of lovingly caring for Dingolay, my Aunt  is offering this gorgeous villa for sale. Presently it can be rented  for short and long term stays.
